The second section of the RBT Ethics Code is duty to clients. This section focuses on the RBT's commitment to providing the highest quality of care and services to their clients. It stresses the importance of prioritizing the well-being and best interests of clients above all else, and maintaining professional boundaries at all times.

Competence and Service Delivery

The third section of the RBT Ethics Code is competence and service delivery. This section highlights the RBT's responsibility to continually strive for excellence in their work, maintain and improve their professional skills and knowledge, and ensure that they are providing effective and evidence-based interventions to their clients.

What are the RBT code of ethics' sections?

The RBT Ethics Code and the Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts both have four guiding principles that RBTs must be aware of. These ideals include treating people with respect, dignity, and compassion; acting with honesty; and ensuring their own competency. Five moral behaviors are listed. Reviewing the ethical tenets that form the cornerstone of the regulations frequently aids in deciphering the problems raised in a particular circumstance. The five principles, autonomy, justice, beneficence, nonmaleficence, and fidelity are each absolute truths in and of themselves.
